By using this tool, AMarkets partners can easily see which platforms, topics, and even individual posts attract their audience. Let’s take a closer look at how you can create these tags in just a couple of seconds.

 

AMarkets partners have two ways of inviting new clients. The first method is to share your personal referral code, available in your partner account.

 

 

When clients enter this code during registration, they automatically join your affiliate group. The second way is sharing a referral link. This link already includes your unique partner code, so the information is transferred automatically.

 

However, neither of these two methods tells you exactly where your client came from. This means you’re missing valuable insights about your marketing efforts. Thankfully, UTM tags solve this problem.

 

A UTM tag is a small addition to the links you send to your potential clients. It helps organize traffic data and consists of two elements: a parameter and a value. Does it sound complicated? Don’t worry – you’ll master it within a couple of minutes.

 

Let’s compare the two types of links:

 

 

Both links lead to the registration form. However, the second link lets you track both the source and the campaign – these are our parameters. In this example, the values are “tg” and “edu,” suggesting the traffic comes from Telegram, and the post relates to education. If the same content is published on vk.com, your link will look like this:

Creating a UTM tag

Log in to your partner account and go to the page with your referral links. Then, select the link you want and click “Copy.”

 

 

Below, on the same page, you’ll see the “Generator of referral links” section.

 

 

You’ll notice three mandatory fields and two optional ones. First, paste the link you copied earlier into the top field labeled “Direct link.”

 

In the “Source” field, specify where your clients will be coming from. You can name it anything, but we recommend sticking to these simple guidelines:

 

1. Write in Latin letters.

 

2. Use widely recognized abbreviations like tg, google, etc.

 

The third mandatory field is “Campaign.” Here, use a clear and simple name so you’ll easily understand which advertising campaign it refers to. For instance, if you’re running a series of posts about a new AMarkets promotion, you might enter “promo.”

 

 

Once these mandatory fields are filled out, you’ll already have enough information to:

 

  • Identify the most effective advertising campaigns.
  • Discover which traffic sources consistently bring in clients.
  • Optimize your marketing efforts effectively.

 

Can you be even more efficient?

Absolutely! The optional fields “Keyword” and “Content” will help you gain deeper insights into your marketing results. You’ll clearly understand how successful a specific post or content type (such as video, audio, text, etc.) was.

 

For example, suppose you want to track clicks from a text-based post published on December 1.

 

 

After you complete these fields, the “Referral link” field updates automatically. This means you don’t have to manually edit or double-check anything. Simply click “Copy” when you’re done.

 

 

You’re all set – your UTM-tagged link is ready!

 

 

All that’s left is pasting it into your Telegram post. Naturally, for different posts, sources, or campaigns, you’ll need new links. Later, visit the “Registrations” section in your partner account to view the number of clicks on links with various UTM tags.
